Ingredients: 

1 lb 90% lean ground beef
1/2 t rubbed sage
1/2 t fennel seeds
1/4 t pepper
1/4 t pink salt
1/2 t parsley flakes
1/8 t nutmeg
2 pinches cayenne pepper
2 T Simple Girl Carolina Style BBQ Sauce
1 c diced apple

Directions: 
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Combine spices and diced apple together in mixing bowl
  3. Add meat to bowl and combine with hands until well mixed
  4. Add BBQ sauce and continue to mix
  5. Form mixture into 4 equal sized patties
  6. Place on baking sheet
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until done in center of patty
  8. Remove from oven and brush tops of patties with additional BBQ sauce, if desired
