Vanilla Mint Pears

Oil Free and Sugar Free and Low Carb
Calories per serving: 

1 pear, sliced thin
1/2 c water
1 t lemon juice
5 drops SweetLeaf vanilla cream stevia
1 regular tea bag (orange pekoe or another of your liking)
1 t dried mint (or 1 mint tea bag)

  1. Heat water in skillet over med-high heat
  2. Stir in lemon juice and stevia
  3. Add pear slices tea bag(s) and mint
  4. Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat to low
  5. Cook for 5 minutes or until pear slices are tender when pierced with a fork
  6. Remove from heat and allow to cool
  7. Divide pears onto two plates 
  8. Spoon a little of the liquid on top of the pears
