Ingredients:
1/2 c coconut flour
1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
1 c water
2 T flax meal
1 t vanilla extract
2 T coconut oil, melted
6 T unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 t pink salt
1/4 t baking soda
3 T FiberYum IMO Syrup (or honey)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line a 8 inch round cake pan with parchment paper
- Whisk applesauce, water, vanilla, coconut oil, and IMO syrup together in bowl
- In separate bowl, stir together coconut flour, flax meal, cocoa powder, pink salt, and baking soda
- Pour dry ingredients into wet and stir well
- Pour batter into cake pan and smooth evenly with spatula
- Bake for 15 minutes (Batter will still look very underdone)
- Let cool then transfer to refrigerator until firm
- Slice into 8 even triangles
