Fruit-infused Liquor

Servings: 17 (1.5 oz shot/serving)

Ingredients:

1 bottle (750 ml) Ciroc vodka (or other hard liquor of choice)
2 c chopped fruit of choice (lemons, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, pineapple, raspberries, limes, japapenos, etc)
additional add-ins of choice, if desired (citrus peels, minced ginger, fresh herbs, split vanilla beans, whole cloves, whole star anise, whole cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, etc)
stevia, to taste

Directions:

  1. Place chopped fruit, and any additional add-ins desired, into 1- 1 1/2 quart mason jar
  2. Pour vodka into jar
  3. Screw lid onto jar
  4. Sit in undisturbed dark place on the kitchen counter at least 3-14 days (The longer the better)
  5. Separate fruit from vodka by straining into a large pyrex measuring cup with pour spout (Line strainer with cheesecloth first if there is a lot of sediment at bottom of mason jar from fruit/add-ins)
  6. Add stevia, to taste
  7. Pour back into liquor bottle
  8. Store in freezer
