How to Make Stevia Syrup

Ingredients:
3 c. water
1 T. maple extract
1/8 tsp. pink salt
¼ tsp. stevia extract or 2 tsp. SweetLeaf plain, vanilla, or English toffee liquid stevia
½ to 1 tsp. xanthan gum
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients except xanthan gum into a medium saucepan.
- Sprinkle xanthan gum lightly over the surface of the syrup and whisk to incorporate.
- Taste and adjust flavors then turn heat up to medium.
- Let syrup come to a simmer and thicken.
- Remove from burner and allow to thicken and cool slightly.
- Serve warm or cold.
