How to Make Stevia Syrup

3 c. water
1 T. maple extract
1/8 tsp. pink salt
¼ tsp. stevia extract or 2 tsp. SweetLeaf plain, vanilla, or English toffee liquid stevia
½ to 1 tsp. xanthan gum


  1. Combine all ingredients except xanthan gum into a medium saucepan.
  2. Sprinkle xanthan gum lightly over the surface of the syrup and whisk to incorporate.
  3. Taste and adjust flavors then turn heat up to medium.
  4. Let syrup come to a simmer and thicken.
  5. Remove from burner and allow to thicken and cool slightly.
  6. Serve warm or cold.
