Ingredients:
7 oz ground buffalo (or ground beef)
2 t onion powder
4 cloves garlic
4 T water
8 oz canned diced tomatoes
8 oz canned tomato sauce
1 t tomato paste
1 T basil
1 T italian seasoning
16 oz shredded cabbage
1/2 t pink salt
1/2 t pepper
Directions:
- Over medium heat, heat 2 T water, 3 garlic cloves, and onion powder
- Saute until garlic is cooked
- Add ground buffalo and basil, salt, and pepper
- Stir and cook until meat is fully browned
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and paste
- Mix well
- Add addition spices as needed
- Let simmer and stir occasionally
- In separate pan, add 2 T water 1 garlic clove, and saute for 1 minute
- Add cabbage and remaining seasoning
- Saute until soft
- Drain and put on plate
- Top with sauce and serve
