Sweet & Sour Turkey Meatballs

3.5 oz ground turkey
2 T minced onion
1 clove of garlic crushed and minced
pinch of garlic powder
pinch of onion powder
pinch of cayenne pepper
1/4 c lemon juice
1 T Bragg’s liquid aminos
stevia, to taste 
1/4 t xanthan gum, optional


  1. Combine ground turkey with minced garlic, onion and spices
  2. Heat lemon juice in small saucepan
  3. Add aminos and stevia to taste
  4. Form small meatballs and add to saucepan
  5. Place lid on top and simmer for about 10 minutes, flipping meatballs halfway through
  6. Remove meatballs from saucepan and stir in xanthan gum to thicken sauce, if desired
